The Food Has a Story

A North Nashville Original.

Jordan Hubbard  ·  Maison Dixon

Jordan Hubbard is a fifth-generation Nashville native whose great-great-grandparents founded Dixon’s Grocery—one of the first Black-owned grocery stores in North Nashville—in the early 1900s. Today, he carries that legacy forward through Maison Dixon, built around the dish that’s always brought people together: fish and spaghetti.

“Fish and spaghetti is simple but powerful. It brings people together, especially in Nashville, and is very rooted in who we are.”

We'd Love to See You There!

Helps us make sure there’s enough fish. (Seriously though.)

A NEIGHBORHOOD ON THE RISE

Be Part of the Beginning.

Not long ago, people were saying the same things about East Nashville that they’re saying about the Haynes Area today—“not established yet,” “maybe in a few years.” Then those years passed.

Stokers Village sits in one of Nashville’s most-watched growth corridors—minutes from Germantown, downtown, the River North district, and several of the city’s major medical centers.
